Irish people place a premium on new cars more than any other nationality in the European Union.

Eurostat figures for 2017 show that 27.5 per cent of cars in Ireland are under 2 years old – the highest share of any EU Member State.

Meanwhile in Poland, 35 per cent of cars in use are over 20 years old.
