Irish people are more concerned about the environment and climate change than most of our European neighbours.

The latest Eurobarometer survey shows that environmental matters are third on the list of the things Irish people worry about, coming in just after the economy and health.

In Europe as a whole, worries about the environment fell outside the top three of people’s concerns, coming in at number four on the list behind health, the economy and their respective public finances.
